1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 pound ground turkey breast
1 can diced tomatoes with jalapenos
1 can (10.5 ounces) each garbanzos, black beans, and kidney beans, drained
1 can (14 ounces) low-sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon each salt and cumin
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
hot sauce to taste
1. Heat oil on medium-low. Add onion and saute until soft (about 3 to 5 minutes). Add turkey and brown (about 5 minutes.) Add tomatoes with juice, beans, broth, and spices. Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
