Have you ever asked what the burpee is good for?

Well bellow I will list five reason that you should do a burpee.

Reason 1 - This exercise not only burns a lot of calories but it also burns fat. The reason why burpees are so effective is because this workout is an intense fully body exercise.Also there are a few studies that show this workout burns 50% more fat than regular exercise.

Reason 2 - This exercise is a great workout to build strength. Since this exercise works the whole body, you are working the arms, chest, quads, glutes, hamstrings, and abs. 

Reason 3 - The burpee is a great conditioning workout. This workout is great for conditioning and endurance, it is a great way to get into shape quickly which make this exercise ideal for a new sport, train for a triathlon, hike a big mountain, or, just to look good.  

Reason 4 - This exercise can be done anywhere and does not need any equipment.

Reason 5 - The burpee can be added to any workout routine.

How to do the Burpees

1. Begin in a squat position with hands on the floor in front of you.

2. Kick your feet back to a pushup position*.

3. Immediately return your feet to the squat position.

4. Leap up as high as possible from the squat position.
